When using 2CM granite, fabricators add a bottom granite piece under the large countertop granite causing a seam between the two pieces. The seams can look almost invisible on granite that has a small pattern. The seams can look really bad when granite has a lot of visual movement. Fabricators have a tendency to not explain beforehand the issues that come with the eased edge seam in using 2CM granite that has visual movement in it.
